TetrathalonA competition that tests kids in four areas: riding, swimming, running, and shooting, this is a demanding but oh-so rewarding sport. z
Kids should be swimming - competitively if possible- during the fall and winter, and club-level shooting and cross-country riding practices will be held in the late-winter and throughout the spring. More info on tetrathalon can be found here: www.canadianponyclub.org/what-we-do.php?page=tetrathlon Show Jumping / DressageShow Jumping and Dressage are separate events that allow Pony Club kids to test their skills against other members.
These events are held at the regional level, with winners proceeding to the national level. |
